NUKE WAR FEARS ON FILM

In Queens, NY, through Sept 10, with a tie-in to the soon to be released documentary "Command and Control" based upon Eric Schlosser's best-selling book Command and Control:Nuclear Weapons and the Illusion of Safety,The Museum of the Moving Image hosts a "mini-marathon" of Nuclear War films. movingimage.us

Films include Kubrick's classic "Dr. Strangelove","The China Syndrome"(Jane Fonda, Jack Lemon),"The War Game"(filmed in the mid-sixties) and "The Atomic Cafe"(1982). "Cafe" showing the history of the U.S. as a Nuclear Armed Nation through newsreels, military training films, educational films and commercials.

"The War Game" depicts a Nuclear Attack on Great Britain.
